About Me

Hey there! Welcome to my corner of the web! I'm Ozan — feel free to call me Ozi or Ozzy.

Let me give you a quick snapshot of who I am. Originally from Izmir, Turkey, I've journeyed through cities like Bursa and Ankara, collecting degrees in International Security, Public Administration, International Relations, and Polish Language and Literatures along the way.

Now, I've set my roots in Warsaw, Poland, where I'm making waves as an HRIS Manager in the realm of Human Resources. Let's delve into the heart of my professional journey. Despite my roots in Social Sciences, my passion lies in the dynamic realm of programming. From transforming and cleaning data to creating visualizations, I revel in developing solutions that not only make life easier but also add a touch of efficiency to every process.

In the tech landscape, I'm the go-to person for HR automation. As the reporting domain lead for the HR department, I take the reins in crafting and implementing various automations tailored to the unique needs of HR. Whether it's optimizing data flows, designing insightful reports, or spearheading automation initiatives, count me in—I'm all about making HR processes more efficient.

On the tech front, my toolbox is well-stocked. From Python for backend magic to HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, and React for frontend finesse, I've got the bases covered. I actively harness the power of VBA for automation at work, while keeping my codes neatly organized using GIT on Github. Speaking of which, explore my GitHub Repository to find an array of plugins, including the widely-used "Image in Editor" and others like "File Tree Alternative," "OZ Calendar," "Obsidian Link Converter," and "Clear Unused Images."

Now, when it comes to unwinding, you'll find me hitting the gym, especially for some cardio workouts. Beyond the world of coding, I'm a VR and PlayStation enthusiast, diving into the realms of online gaming for some well-deserved downtime.
